Mock Project Briefs

I often do ‘mock design briefs’ to be able to explore different genres and styles and gain more practice.

The first ‘mock’ I did was for a short course I was completing. I chose to re-design the film adaptation of ‘Vampire Academy’ in a modern gothic style. I wanted to really look deeply into the books and used this as the source material, whilst referencing the movie script. I hope to one day finish all the costume designs, and even perhaps make Rose or Lissa’s Equinox Ball Costume. I’ve also included the mood board for Lissa and Rose’s characters and the presentation board for Rose’s Equinox Ball Costume. In my sketchbook (which you can view here) is both sketches, mini-mood boards and lots of research.
